課程概述 |
Sophomore Composition is a one-year foundation course that helps students advance their writing skills. For this semester (second semester), we will concentrate on writing expository and argumentative essays, before we turn to writing a short research paper. |
課程目標 |
This course aims to help students develop confidence and skills in using English at university level. By the end of this course, students will be able to:
o write English in a clear and coherent manner
o use an appropriate range of vocabulary and sentences in their writing
o organise ideas and structure a compelling argument
o produce essays on academic and general interest topics
o demonstrate the ability to revise and edit written work |

This course will be conducted in both English and Mandarin. |
